Both my jobs keep me constantly busy. If I’m going to have breakfast, I need it to be quick, tasty and filling. My Gluten Free French toast is well worth making time for in my schedule. I’ve adapted my recipe into a 4 person serve which you can find below;
WHAT YOU NEED
8 slices of gluten free bread
3/4 cup milk of your choice
4 eggs beaten
2 tsp honey
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp non flavoured oils. I like to use vegetable oil for frying.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS;
⁃ Banana and honey
⁃ Butter and powdered sugar
⁃ Fresh berries and cream
HOW TO MAKE FRENCH TOAST
1. Combine milk, honey, beaten eggs and vanilla essence.
2. Completely coat your gluten free bread on both sides with the batter. They need to soak up as much of the batter as possible.
3. Warm the oil in your pan on a medium high heat. Fry the bread on both sides until they are golden.
4. Serve with condiments or toppings of your choice.
It really is that simple to make classic toast for breakfast that little bit more exciting.
