WHAT YOU NEED
-500g peeled prawns
-1/2 cup honey
-1/4 cup gluten free Soy Sauce
-1 1/2 tbsp garlic
-Juice from one lemon (I like to microwave the lemon for 5-10 seconds to get the most juice out of it).
-2 tbsp butter
-2tsp ginger
-Cracked black pepper to taste
-75g of snow peas
HOW TO MAKE
- Mix together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and lemon. Pour half into one bowl and set aside the rest.
- Next add the prawns into one bowl and marinate for 30 minutes.
- In a pan add the butter and prawns and turn the heat to medium high.
- Keep your eye on the prawns and stir them as they cook. This will not take long at all. 2 minutes at best. As soon as the prawns turn pink, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
- Add the reserved sauce into the pan and with the snow peas. Let the sauce thicken up for 3-4 minutes. Then, remove from the heat and serve.
I like to serve my prawns on top of the snow peas with a crack of black pepper. As for sides, I like white rice and garlic zucchini bake.
